A new range of designs featuring the pioneering women of the Tudor era. Queen Elizabeth I needs no introduction. She's joined by; Elizabeth Cooke, Lady Russell; self-styled 'Dowager Countess' and influential member of Elizabeth I's court a highly educated, pioneering woman, poet and designer of funerary monuments. Infamously she was responsible for raising a petition against the building of Shakespeare's Blackfriars Theatre close to her home, Lady Mary Sidney; a poet and literary patron who was listed alongside her brother, Philip Sidney, Shakespeare and Edmund Spenser (The Faerie Queene) among the noticeable authors of the period and Amelia Lanier; A poet, often posited as the mysterious 'Dark Lady' of Shakespeares sonnets.
